How this site makes money

This site does not currently carry any affiliate links or advertising. The intention is to add affiliate links to business-formation services on pages that discuss them. When that happens, this page will say so, every commercial link will be visibly marked, and the rules below will apply from the first day.

What a commission never buys

The whole value of this site is that the numbers are disinterested. So the boundary is absolute, and it is worth stating plainly:

• No calculator output ever depends on a partner. Every figure comes from the published methodology, and the same inputs always produce the same answer.
• No verdict, benchmark, or recommendation is for sale. A buy/negotiate/investigate/pass call is rule-based and cannot be influenced.
• Commercial links stay out of results. They belong in clearly-marked sections of educational pages, never inside an analysis.
• We don't review what we haven't assessed. Where this site names a category of service, it describes what the category does — it does not rank vendors it has no basis to rank.

Still not advice

Nothing on this site — with or without a commercial link — is investment, tax, legal, accounting, or real-estate advice. Content about business structures, lending, and taxes is general education, and the right answer for your situation depends on facts this site doesn't know.
